Common Article marketing Mistakes and How to Avoid Them

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

How are you doing with your articles marketing efforts? If you’re like most people, you probably start out with a little bit of a stumble and you may have a difficult time getting it off the ground. All it takes is a little bit of persistence, however, and forgoing some of the errors that are typically made by those that do articlemarketing as the main part of their business. Here are some of the most common problems that you may run across.

One of the biggest mistakes that people make when writing articles is that they don’t focus on their keywords properly. It is not really necessary for you to shoot for a certain percentage of keyword saturation, but it doesn’t hurt to be in the neighborhood of two percent. More important than the keyword saturation is the fact that you use the keyboard naturally and that you focus on specific keywords in order to rank well for them.

Another problem that many people have is that they don’t write unique content. Perhaps you have a hard time writing content of your own, and that certainly is nothing to be embarrassed about. If you have such a difficult time with it, you can either hire out that work to other individuals for a few dollars or you can simply teach yourself how to write properly. It may take a little bit of work, but the rewards of writing unique content over those of writing content that is duplicate is amazing.

The final problem that were going to discuss is the fact that many people don’t stick with it long enough to see results. Writing one or two articles is not really going to give you the results that you want, but writing hundreds of articles and submitting them is going to give you the potential of a flood of traffic. Break it down into smaller chunks and continue writing, the rewards are waiting for you.
